Rallying and Defending (garrisoning):

Rally Joiners:

Troops:  Send your highest level troops even if it is not your max troop capacity.  Do not mix troop levels in your rally. If you have 32,000 T10 and 120,000 T9, you should only send the 32K T10.

Heros: The most important aspect of joining a rally is the Hero you send in the First (left-most) position.

The hero you send will be either Sergey, Patrick, or Wallis, depending on who has the highest first expedition skill  The only skill that applies is the one in the top right of your hero like the screenshot below.

When joining a rally there are only 2 important things: The first hero you use and your Troop level. Heroes- When you join a rally the only thing that applies from your hero selection is the FIRST expedition skill of your FIRST hero. This is more important than their power or their level. There gear does not apply, their weapon does not apply. What you focus on is the first skill for the first hero. Example - My Molly Is much stronger than my Jessie, but Molly's first expedition skill gives a 20% chance to stun and Jessie gives a 25% damage boost to everyone. It makes everyone in the rally 25% stronger. More importantly, the buff Stacks! If there are 5 Jessie's in a rally that is 125% more Damage everyone makes! This is why Jessie is more important as my first hero when joining a rally that is attacking.

The first hero will have a flag above their level and is the one to the left.

Above you can see the same rally formation with Jessie (good) and Molly (bad).  It LOOKS like my Molly formation does 7Million more damage (114M) than my Jessie (107M) but this is their base power.  With Jessies FIRST expedition skill it increases by 25% making the Jessie formation have 133.75M power!

Also the Jessie buff goes to everyone in the rally and it stacks with all other Jessie's in the rally making use over 100% more powerful!

Advanced topics

What if I have to join multiple rallies? Well there are various heros that give rallies important Buffs.

Attacking look at  Jessie, Seo-yoon, and Jasser.  They all have Stackable Damage buffs as their first Expedition skill.

Jessie -  Stand of Arms - Damage UP for all troops by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25%

Seo-Yoon - Rallying Beat - Attack Up for all troops by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25%

Jasser - Tactical Genius - Damage Up for all troops by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25%

Defending Rally Heroes

When defending  or holding a garrison you want to use your rally heroes with defensive buffs these are Sergey, Patrick and Walis

Sergey -  Defenders' Edge - Damage Down for all troops by 4%/8%/12%/16%/20%

Patrick - Super Nutrients - Health Up for all troops by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25%

Walis - Tactical Deception - Enemy Damage Down for all troops by 4%/8%/12%/16%/20%
